John Pickervance
John is an Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Department specialising in Commercial Contracts, Intellectual Property and IT. Wider experience also involves areas of Charity Law, FCA compliance and Sports Law.
John’s work predominantly relates to drafting, advising on and negotiating commercial contracts governing the provision of both goods and services to customers and suppliers alike (be it business to business ‘B2B’ or business to consumer ‘B2C’). The types of contracts that he is involved in range from standard terms and conditions up to international trade agreements, involving both importing and exporting.
On a commercial contract basis John deals with agency and distribution; manufacturing agreements; consultancy agreements; construction projects; introducer agreements; and franchising amongst other bespoke matters.
John also regularly advises in relation to the identification, protection and exploitation of Intellectual Property and IT issues including digital compliance, software development and licensing agreements and support and maintenance contracts.
